Alfabs Mining Equipment is expanding with the construction of a brand-new workshop facility located in Mitchell Avenue Kurri Kurri NSW to supplement two existing workshops. The $3 million investment by the Alfabs Group will see the expansion of capabilities for Alfabs Mining in Kurri Kurri including a dedicated diesel repair workshop and brand-new office space.
It is anticipated that at least 15 new permanent local jobs will be created for Mechanical Fitters, Diesel Fitters and support staff as well as additional opportunities for apprentices to learn these highly sought-after trades.
Alfabs Mining Equipment is a leading supplier of equipment, services, products, parts, and consumables to the mining sector. Alfabs Mining Equipment manufactures and refurbishes equipment for their hire fleet and for sale. Often filling custom orders, the business employs a number of trades including Boilermakers and Fitters and teaches specialist skills to a dedicated team of apprentices.
The workshop is a new and exciting venture that will provide peace of mind to clients working in a fast-paced industry who rely on quality equipment and repairs to be completed in one location.
