ACU will be home for back-to-back weeks to start the season, as the Purple and White are set for a Sept. 10 matchup against Prairie View A&M with a Salute to Heroes theme. The Panthers have never made the trip to Abilene, and the only previous meeting between the two teams came in 2013, when ACU came away with a 65-45 victory behind a monster day from quarterback John David Baker and future NFL running back Charcandrick West.
The Wildcats host Western New Mexico for Family Weekend to close out the month of September and new WAC member Southern Utah on Oct. 15 for a 3:25 p.m. Homecoming kickoff.
The regular season concludes on Nov. 19, when ACU welcomes longtime rival and WAC preseason favorite SFA to the Big Country for a battle of purple supremacy on Rally Cats Kids Day. Fans will vote to determine the kickoff time for the SFA game, with more details to come later in the season.
