Firo (Josh) Cole, MSPH

Firo (Josh) Cole, MSPH, is currently a M.D. candidate at the University of California, San Francisco within the Program in Medical Education for the Urban Underserved (PRIME-US). He received his MSPH degree in Health Systems from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

His research focuses on medical education, visual thinking strategies, human-centered design for equity. His mission is to become an excellent ophthalmologist, equity-advancing innovator, and visual artist who collaborates with patients to attain holistic healing while designing systems to advance equity and justice for marginalized communities. In his free time, Firo loves watching anime, painting, biking, and hosting dinner parties.
