Leslie Vernon Keeps Rising... In My Estimation

If you're in Los Angeles, not only is it sunny and warm and I hate you but tomorrow night you could go and see a special Midnight screening of Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon with all the cast there in person. So do go, Angelenos, and support this terrific flick, please. I implore you! Good stuff like this needs to be supported!

And if you ain't in LA, the film's playing in select theaters all over the country; here's where.

It's been heckfire busy (that's very) with me at my real job so I haven't had the proper time to post on this movie like I want to, but here's a blurb that sums up my opinion albeit briefly, courtesy of Stephen Hunter at The Washington Post:

"The movie has more cleverness than violence, and its breakdown of cliches is vivid and witty. [Nathan] Baesel is an extraordinary presence, holding the film together with his mesmerizing performance, charm and openness, and [Angela] Goethals measures up to him."

It's really a smashing good time, and Baesel is a superstar to me now. LOVE him. The below pics are him from the TV show Invasion:
