  Danelectro 3021

It is not known exactly when Jimmy Page started to use the 3021 Danelectro but it seems that it was in 1961. The first picture of him with the guitar is seen in a study session in 1965.

In the White Summer studio he had been registered with the Gibson J-200 Flattop, while he used the Danelectro in 1967 on the stage of White Summer.
In the interview with Steve Rosen in 1977: "I used it live for the 'Summer White' (Little Games). I used a special tuning for this song, the string down in B, then A, D, G, A and D.

Page continues to use the Danelectro in Led Zeppelin for the White Summer / Black Mountain Side, medley from 1968, in April 1970 in the American Tour. E 'was also seen in the U.S. for the Tour in 1975 for When The Levee Breaks.

Also in the U.S. tour in 1977, 1979 and 1980 at Knebworth and during the European tour, Page used the Danelectro for the White Summer / Black Mountain Side, Kashmir and In My Time Of Dying. In 1982, the original Danelectro stainless steel bridge was replaced with a “Leo Quan Badass Style Wrap Around” bridge with individual adjustable saddles. The original screw holes are still visible.

Page played in 1988 the Danelectro again for Kashmir at the concert on the anniversary of the 40 years of the Atlantic Records.
I bought the Danelectro in San Diego. The price was not low but it is all original, vintage, identical to that of Jimmy, so it is worth it.
