Cergas Energy Limited (“CEL”)
CEL is a Malaysian Bumiputra majority owned company and was incorporated in Labuan. CEL is part of Labuan’s GIFT programme and is focused on being an international commodity trading company.
In November 2018, CEL had acquired Ericsen Energy Trading Pte Ltd (“EET”) and Cergas Mining Sdn Bhd (“CM”) as part of its expansion into the oil & gas industry and mineral trading (physical trading and derivatives) and mining activities, (collectively referred to as “The Group”).
The Group has extensive regional experience and reach in diversified natural resources, focusing in promoting Malaysian and regional oil & gas, mineral and metal products to the rest of the world.
CEL as a holding company, is involved in the physical trading of oil and gas related products (crude oil, refined oil, petrochemical products, LPG and LNG), investment in oil and gas infrastructure projects, logistics and derivatives. It is also a mining contractor for bauxite, iron ore, sand and other mineral mining activities.
