From 1996-2007 MacAddict made Macintosh shareware CDs to go with their magazine. These number 1-125 and a few special CDs.
They were preceded by CD-ROM Today for which the CDs are at http://4unitmaths.com/cdromtodaycds.html.
Each numbered cd has a cumulative catalog, the most important of which is in cd125. This is also available at http://4unitmaths.com/ma-catalog1-125.sitx. After decompressing it you can open and read it using disktracker which you can get at http://www.disktracker.com/download.shtml.
The segmented sitx files for cd1-125 and a few special cds are below replete with cd photo for cd printing if required. To decompress, use a mac version of Stuffit Expander. Other software might not decompress correctly. The resultant .toast files should open easily in mac os x but you may need toast 4 or 5 in mac os 9.
If you prefer iso format, some of these are at http://archive.org/search.php?query=macaddict&sort=-publicdate.
If you have an intel mac running Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks, Yosemite, El Capitan or Sierra you can still run macaddict software with System 7, Mac OS 8 or Mac OS 9 under Sheepshaver for the classic apps or with Leopard Server or Snow Leopard Server under Parallels Desktop, VMWare Fusion or VirtualBox for the Mac OS X PPC apps.
Note #28 has a virus, but a special virus-free version is available in the special disks table.
The magazines are also now available for issues 1-125.
